The Black Stack — A Limited-Edition Halloween Jewelry Workshop
Create a stack of five dark, textured copper rings in this limited-edition Halloween workshop designed around hammered metal, rich texture, and dramatic blackened finishes.
Starting with solid copper, you’ll create five individual stacking rings, each with its own character. You’ll learn to form, texture, solder, finish, and blacken your rings while experimenting with different surface treatments—from rugged hammer marks and organic bark-like textures to hand-stamped designs.
The magic happens in the finish. Each ring will be deeply oxidized to a rich, nearly black patina, then selectively finished so warm copper begins to emerge across the raised edges, hammer marks, and high points.
The result is a stack that feels dark, worn, handmade and completely individual.
Wear all five together as The Black Stack, split them between fingers, or mix them with jewelry you already own.
No two stacks will be exactly alike.
No experience is necessary. Beginners are always welcome.
