DESCRIPTION:A rare Central Coast creative getaway hosted by artist Brad Golden.\nExperience the full magic of lost-wax casting through a modern\, professional workflow using 3D printed jewelry originals. In this immersive three-day workshop\, you’ll learn how digitally created designs are transformed into solid metal jewelry through one of the most powerful and time-honored processes in metalsmithing—reaching back 6\,000 years. \nWorking in a small group\, you’ll prepare a cast-ready 3D printed model\, sprue and invest your piece\, and take part in a live metal pour at the instructor’s workshop. On the final day\, you’ll cut\, file\, sand\, and polish your casting into a finished piece of jewelry you can wear home. \nThis class emphasizes process\, understanding\, and hands-on experience.
